Not a fennel lover but that does look beautiful. We had a similar situation with our older cats, as you say, love them, cuddle them, reassure them. I feel for you, take care. Xxx

What a beautiful salad- thank you for sharing. I’m going to try it today. I have made a fennel and orange salad but not one with pear- a delicious change. I do love the crunch of fennel in a salad. It is the perfect pick k me up on a cloudy winter day. It sounds like you have your hands full with your furry family members. I hope they will settle in soon.

The pears sound divine, and are pear…fectly paired with Fennel in this beautiful salad. A simple and mindful act of slicing and preparing is a good distraction and ensures you also eat well. I am sorry of course to hear of your fur baby and hope you are able to keep your spirits up
