바닐라 크림 프레슈를 곁들인 구운 배

They make the most beautiful dessert. I would quite loke the sharp flavours of crème fraîche I think but yogurt makes a great substitute and the salt seems like it would bring the sweetness out perfectly 🥰
The pear’s really picked up golden hues from all those warming spices and demarara sugar. I’m usually on fence about five spice and find that sometimes it takes over the other flavours. How was it here? Yogurt sounds like a great pairing. Although I wouldn’t mind a warm slice with cold vanilla ice cream. I made Nigel’s poached pears last weekend and we ate them warm with ice cream 😜

Maybe the trick is to serve them with vanilla ice cream? Although I would pick Greek yogurt too. Beautiful dessert!! 😍😍😍
Love it! I just happen to have 2 pears at home that have been sitting in the fruit basket for a while. They are quite ripe now, do you think they can withstand the baking? How firm yours were?

Oksana, is it ok to change fenêtres sugar to brown cane sugar?
I love to use fruit whole in desserts and this one looks gorgeous ❤️. What did your hubby didn’t like about them? Was it the amount of butter? I thought the French loved butter 😆. Add a scoop of ice cream on them and it will be extra festive 😍😍
Love Poached pears ! Those sound so delicious with the spices (and whiskey/bourbon) great winter dessert!
