This cauliflower looks seriously delicious, Oksana 😋 and I wonder why I never thought of pairing cauli with coconut milk 🤔 I’m not really a fan of steaming but I only have a kind of sieve I can put into a saucepan over a little water (and no space for another kitchen tool 🤷🏻♀️). Taste and health wise it’s definitely better than boiling, but my favourite way of cooking veggies is roasting 😍
Your steamed and sautéed cauliflower looks incredible, Oksana and the purée reminds me of cauliflower mash (like in mashed potatoes). 👏😍 Cooking with steam is the most healthy way to retain nutrients because of the moist heat. It also allows the inherent flavours to shine through. Asian cuisine has many recipes that use steaming ❤️❤️ Roasting adds smoky charred flavours though and most people prefer that 😋. I did read somewhere that fry roasting creates some types of toxins 🤷🏻♀️. Looking forward to more of your dishes with the new steamer. Happy Wednesday ❤️❤️

Certainly s healthy option! I haven’t used my steamer for a long time (will get my steamer out now😁). I normally boil my vegetables in a very little water. Using the leftover liquid for sauces and soups. Delicious cauliflower dish Indeed. Happy Wednesday Oksana 😃💞
Hey Oksana, this looks really great 😍😍, I think I would love this cauliflower dish 😋😋😋. Good question about the steaming. I don’t use steaming a lot. Sometimes steam comes from my ears, but that has a different topic 😂. Since very short I have a pan with a steamer insert and I intend to try steaming more often. It’s being said that steaming is healthier and leaves more taste. I hope I will find out that I agree with the latter myself.

You have adapted the recipe beautifully to your preferences Oksana 😍coconut milk is a great choice instead of using dairy 🙌 swapping paprika for chilli is another good option 🙌 I love the creamy cauliflower with the sautéed cauliflower, so delicious 😋 I also steam my vegetables, in particular broccoli and cauliflower as they lose far more of their nutritional benefits when boiled 😍Happy Wednesday lovely 😘❤️❤️❤️🥰
I am no fan of steamed food, or boiled food for that matter. Prefer roasted!

I like the way you cooked the cauliflower here Oksana! 🙌 Steaming to keep all the nutrients makes a lot of sense! Then a light sauté to finish! 😍 I should’ve done this with the broccoli dish I made!
Looks so good especially after lack luster vegan choices in hospital. Survive on fresh fruit plates mushy steamed or boiled vegetables, veg broth, very dry vegetable burger a little hummus. That’s it. It’s not horrible and I make it taste best with fresh lemons and a little salt and pepper. Think I’m out tomorrow so I’m cooking up a storm right away😂. You photos are so like the professional food stylists
Beautiful cauliflower, sweet friend. The cream sounds amazing!! Under your influence, I’ve been eyeing the @vitaliseur steamer but also trying to compare it to the @lenovo steam oven. And – you guessed it – getting ride of the microwave. ❤️❤️❤️
La Vitaliseur looks like a couscousiere which I have been using my whole cooking career ❤️❤️. Love to steam veggies in it, but with cauliflower I still prefer roasting it. Having said that your dish looks incredibly delicious 😍❤️❤️
